Intro
Steve Lawson belongs to the Adventurers’ Club in Los Angeles and asked me to give a talk about my expedition to dive the HMHS Britannic in Kea, Greece in October 2023.
It was a lot of fun and was done in an “interview style” and I was fortunate to have my wife attend with me! It was a fun night and we got to meet a lot of interesting people.

Are you doing any work with Gaussian Splatting?
I’m not but I did a little research and it looks pretty interesting. I’ll put it on my “Someday” list and explore it some more. Thanks for the pointer.

It’s fairly new, but looks like higher quality imaging, and potentially lighter weight for sharing. Also- easier than NeRFs…
