Presentation : California Wreck Divers 2024 Annual Banquet Keynote (March 2, 2024)

I was honored to be asked by Steve Lawson to give the keynote speech at the 53rd Annual California Wreck Divers Banquet on March 2nd, 2024.

I had just returned from some serious wreck diving in the Solomon Islands so I was a little jet-lagged and sick, but it was fun to meet everybody and give the keynote. The event was held on the WW II Museum Ship, S.S. Lane Victory in San Pedro, California.

My presentation covered three main topics:

(1) Finding & Identifying New Wrecks in Southern California

(2) Recap of my dives on the HMHS Britannic

(3) Fear & Loathing in Palau – a review of my Close Call on the IJN Sata in Aug 2022
